President, Republic of the Philippines
Sir:
Good day Sir. greetings of joy and peace!
I am a fourth year student of Ilocos Sur National School, Vigan City Division, Province of Ilocos Sur. One of our requirements in our ICT class is to write our very able President about our concern in our society. So, I am requesting your patience to please address to my letter.
Young as I am, I can see what the youth of today are doing. Some are not going to school because of poverty. Many of them are with bad company and vices. Or many of them can afford to go to school but they prefer to waste their time and money with nonsense or even they engage themselves with crimes. With those observations this question came to my mind. What could be the reasons? I found out that the parents these youth are busy working, yet what they looked is still not enough to sustain their daily living, so many are going abroad to look for a greener pasture. The children are left at home with the guardianship of their grandparents, relatives or even maids.
Sir, I am bothered of this scenario. What will happen to our youth today if they are given the correct guidance by their parents. I believe that this youth are the hopes of our fatherland someday. But I am afraid if these are their problems because of the absence of their parents.
So, Mr. President, I am appealing to you. Please create an open more job opportunities in the places wherein unemployment is very high , so that there would be no reason why these youth of today will not be guided accordingly and that they will have a better future. This is my concern because I believe our nation needs potential leaders that could be firm and determined.
I am anticipating my thanks for your immediate action on my request.
Mabuhay!
Very truly yours,
EDEL WEISE ALAMANI
