WIKANG FILIPINO:  GAMITIN NATIN ITO!

“Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika, ay higit pa sa malansang isda” – ever searched or surf in the net what was the true story behind this song by our national hero Jose P. Rizal? Want to know it? C’mon!

Last August, we celebrated the Buwan ng Wika and it has a theme “TATAG NG WIKANG FILIPINO LAKAS NG PAGKA-PILIPINO” if we dig dipper and know what’s in it and the knowledge about it.  It gives us a bright idea about the significance and importance in using our own language. First, we must all know what is language or the truth, history and the good effects in using our language. Language is what we use in our daily lives, it is use also so that we can communicate to other people and we have that understanding. If we have communication and we understand each other, no doubt our country will be competitive one. Nowadays we the Filipino’s are using some of our “hiram na salita” in which we are using the dialect of other towns or countries.  What are the negative effects if we’ll not use our own dialect? Simple, our country will never be a competitive one. Why? How can we be a competitive country if we don’t have understanding because we’re not using the same language? The Filipino language. How can we attain peace? How can we feel love? How can we tell to others about our opinions? Feelings? And so on. And if we use one language, all of us will have one goal and one mission and that is to make our country a better one.

And I believe, that one day here in our country there’s no war at all because we have understanding and communication. And that day, Philippines is a well prepared country. Well prepared to hold the title “the most progressive country”
