KUDOS TEACHERS!

                Because of you, my life has changed thank you for the love and the joy you’ve bring … … yes! It’s because of you. When I first entered in this place, the school promises that my elementary days will be a lot of fun and adventure. And yes, it’s so true. My teacher always leaves me a very big smile on my face whenever I’m going home. Every morning, I was so excited to go to school! Want to know why? Simply because, I want to see the angelic face of my teacher.

            In my elementary days, I didn’t realize what’s the real worth of education and also the teachers. All I know is that they teach children because there is what we so called “payment” but I was wrong, really wrong. After several years and now I am a senior student. I need to admit that there’s a very big difference on what I have experienced during my elementary days. Let’s begin from the schedule of classes, subjects, curriculum and others. I need to awake so early in order to attend my first period class. And that made my eyes, oh! Not a good one J J but there’s someone whom I consider as one of my inspiration, inspiration why I’m still have the courage to go to school even though I don’t belong to the top. Let’s just call that ‘someone’ STAR. What a name right? But.. .. hmmmmmm J

            Well, I am very proud that I have known someone like STAR. She’s one of a kind person. She teaches me how to read, write, and understand what life is and to know the difference between good and bad things. She never let me to be discouraged. She always says “kaya mo pa yan anak, ikaw pa” she became my mother, a mother wherein I can tell my problems. A classmate, big sister and a friend that I can lean on.

            I gave her a nickname “star” not because she is so hot, hard to reach and bright, ‘coz whenever I heard the word T.E.A.C.H.E.R.S, the words that my mouth can utter is that. They are the key, the key to have a brighter future. Our light. Because of you teachers many people are now very successful in their careers and life. I salute you teachers!! KUDOS!!

MY ATLANTIS

-          I am unique and all alone in this universe, with no one to relieve my sufferings in life-

Life is an odyssey. This world seems to have no definite direction. Some of us don’t know what is right and what is wrong. Some are still clueless and naïve about the things happening in our environment. But for me? I always wanted something new, something in which I will remember not just a minute or an hour but forever or for a lifetime. And I myself don’t even know what it is, I still haven’t found that someone I am looking for. Then the dark came, suddenly… …

A man with fair color of skin, black hair, rosy cheeks, black-brown watery eyes and has a kissable red lips came beside me. That time I was crying on a bench holding my phone. Still reading the text messages that the guy whom I loved for how many months sent me. The guy who I thought he is the one. The guy whom both of us made a promise but all those dreams are left in a four-sided room. Maybe it’s his fault, maybe mine.  Tears are still flowing on my cheeks like the raindrops in the month of June. Because as memory brings me back to the place were that guy and I both hold dear. When we saw the castle in a garden called “love”. I know I’m not just reminiscing those happy days but I also ponder on how I could bring that guy to embrace. Then a smooth hand touches my cheeks and wipes away my tears. I can’t hear words coming from his mouth all I can hear was the birds flying freely and soaring high. Then again my tears are falling one by one. Then the guy beside me asked me one question. And that question is that it is okay to be friends with him. Then, we became friends … … best friends. He made me feel to be really happy even though my love left me with his broken promises.  Days, months have passed we became more than that. He proved to me that not all boys are the same. He bestowed to me his unconditionally love.

I call him my Atlantis because he’s now my hero. Yet, he didn’t save me, but he save my heart. He saves me from my sorrow and pain. He became my best friend at the same time partner. After some time. Though it wasn’t that long. I came to know, the real person in me.  He made me feel my importance and worth.

WIKANG FILIPINO:  GAMITIN NATIN ITO!

“Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika, ay higit pa sa malansang isda” – ever searched or surf in the net what was the true story behind this song by our national hero Jose P. Rizal? Want to know it? C’mon!

Last August, we celebrated the Buwan ng Wika and it has a theme “TATAG NG WIKANG FILIPINO LAKAS NG PAGKA-PILIPINO” if we dig dipper and know what’s in it and the knowledge about it.  It gives us a bright idea about the significance and importance in using our own language. First, we must all know what is language or the truth, history and the good effects in using our language. Language is what we use in our daily lives, it is use also so that we can communicate to other people and we have that understanding. If we have communication and we understand each other, no doubt our country will be competitive one. Nowadays we the Filipino’s are using some of our “hiram na salita” in which we are using the dialect of other towns or countries.  What are the negative effects if we’ll not use our own dialect? Simple, our country will never be a competitive one. Why? How can we be a competitive country if we don’t have understanding because we’re not using the same language? The Filipino language. How can we attain peace? How can we feel love? How can we tell to others about our opinions? Feelings? And so on. And if we use one language, all of us will have one goal and one mission and that is to make our country a better one.

And I believe, that one day here in our country there’s no war at all because we have understanding and communication. And that day, Philippines is a well prepared country. Well prepared to hold the title “the most progressive country”

                           ICT! ICT! Is it a very hard subject? Maybe yes, maybe no isn’t it?

At first, ICT for me is a little bit hard because of the memorizations, about the persons who contributed in the field of Internet etc. Also the dates and years. ICT helps you to know more about internet, how to communicate others and a lot more. In this subject I have learned how to make blogs and so on. And by making blogs I can enhance my grammars too. By making blogs, I can find friends too. Though sometimes im too lazy to update my account.

                       As a senior student there are so many changes. Also there are many challenges that one student will encounter. In my past high school years, ICT subject is not that difficult, because we all know that the world is now full of modernizations. But I can easily cope up about that matter.

                         Well, we can do all impossible only if we have a confidence that we can do it. Like me, I cope up these challenges of course by self study. I always think positive about these challenges. I won’t give up J

                           Moving on, I will continue what I have started. Furthermore, I will add more time to study my lessons. So that I will not be in the bottom :)

STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS 2012

                 Ever goggled in your mind the thought  of change? Or even stood  in your own might’s to be heard? Even just to say that you care and that change isn’t it only a dream, but a reality that we may live in.

One man stood against a thousand saying that he attained change, and he wasn’t alone.

                His Excellency, President Benigno Simeon Cojuanco Aquino III of the Philippines, delivered his third State Of the Nation Address (SONA) at the Session hall of the house of representatives, Batasan Pambansa Complex, Quezon City on July 23, 2012.

I remember in his 2^nd speech, he cited his accomplishments so far as of being elected as the new President of the Philippines 2010. P-Noy used the wang-wang to symbolize abuse of authorities. He also mentioned the increase in stock markets and upgraded credit ratings. And also revived the confidence of investors in the energy sectors. There was also the implementation of zero-based budgeting including the taxes that were spent to where they should be. President Noy-Noy pointed out the improvements of Phil Health beneficiaries not only that were improvements of TESDA, DepEd and CHED curricular to address employment demands but also the anomalies of the past Administrations were pointed out. And at the end ef his speech, he said: “Buhay na buhay na ang Pilipinas at ang Pilipino”

Now on his 3^rd State Of The Nation Address (SONA) our President mentioned about the North Rail contract—an expensive project that became even more expensive after renegotiation. Ironically, the higher cost came with fewer public benefits; a fleet of 19 train sets was reduced to three, and the number of stations, from five to two. Also about the roads. When the roads are properly paved. President Aquino mentioned about the relief goods that are ready even before the storm arrives. That all the rescue teams are always ready. Our President said that Philippines are now a rich country. Why? Because our financial status is increasing. He also cited the Filipinos who are now unemployed. He said that the number of poor youth that can’t afford to go to school, the TESDA had a project to have an scholarship.  He also said that the financial status of the Government employees will be increase. He proudly said that Philippines is now changing.

                At the end of his speech he said that; “this is not my SONA. You made this happen. This is the SONA of the Filipino nation.”
